Where to eat in Paris? Our 13 best restaurants in 2024!

Under The Sea, the first address in our selection of unusual restaurants in Paris

We’re starting our selection of the best unusual restaurants in Paris with Under The Sea. This atypical, ultra-immersive restaurant offers an original concept based on the theme of the seabed. The menu is highly original, featuring products from the sea. The dishes are delicious and prepared on site every morning. The decor is incredible, so if you’re looking for an immersive restaurant in Paris, this one’s sure to please!

Kodawari Ramen Tsukiji, the second address in our selection of unusual restaurants in Paris

For this second unusual restaurant address in Paris, we take you on an immersion tour of a traditional Tokyo fish market. If you’re interested in traveling to Japan from Paris, this is the address for you. You’ll find excellent ramen and fish broth. For those of us who love to travel, we can assure you that the atmosphere of this address will totally disorientate you for the duration of a meal!

Perpette Paris

It’s a brand new cocktaild bar that’s just opened in Paris in early 2024, and the concept is just crazy! If you liked the Netflix series Orange is the new black, this address should please you. It’s not really a restaurant, but the address is so unusual that we had to tell you about it! Perpette is an ultra-immersive address offering you the opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of a prison inmate. The setting and the actors make for a truly unusual experience. During your stay at Perpette, you’ll have the chance to sample some excellent cocktails (with or without alcohol) as well as Mezze platters, all dressed as inmates. If you’re looking for an unusual address in Paris, you’re bound to find it here!

Andia Paris

After traveling to the depths of the sea and to Tokyo, we now invite you to head for South America. Andia Paris offers excellent Latin cuisine in a verdant setting that’s sure to leave you wanting more. The dishes are delicious and the setting is well worth the detour. We recommend this address with your eyes closed, whether you opt for the brunch or restaurant formula.

Korean brunch Keopi

Decidedly, this selection of the best unusual restaurant addresses in Paris is all about travel! This time, Korean gastronomy takes center stage in the magnificent Passage Verdeau in the 9th arrondissement. The setting is warm and inviting, and the products are really very good. The only drawback is that reservations are not possible. We therefore advise you to come a little before the opening to avoid queuing.

Polpo brasserie

We leave the heart of Paris for Levallois-Perret for this unusual new restaurant address. Easily accessible by metro from line 3, Polpo brasserie offers a rejuvenating setting aboard its barge. Located on the banks of the Seine, the decor and menu are meticulously crafted. The setting is truly inviting: you’d almost think you were on vacation by the sea, especially at sunset. In summer, you can even discover Polpo plage, a very nice bar to enjoy summer from Paris.

Les Caves Saint Gilles

We’re taking you now to Paris’s premier tapas restaurant, Les Caves Saint Gilles. Open since 1992, this address immediately transports you to a Spanish bodega, right in the heart of the Parisian marshlands. The food (and the sangria) are all very good! Almost everyone here speaks Spanish, which adds even more charm to the address. If you like travelling in Spain, you should easily find what you’re looking for at Caves Saint Gilles.

We continue this selection of the best unusual restaurants in Paris with Europe’s largest restaurant, La Felicità. The latest hot spot from cult group Big Mamma, head to Station F to discover this food court like no other. Over 4500 m2 and seating 1000, this restaurant is a veritable temple to Italian cuisine. The location is cool and the trendy setting makes for a truly excellent experience. In short, an excellent address for getting together as a couple or with friends.

If you like craft beers and neon / arcade terminal atmospheres, Brique Machine Paris should interest you. A great place to have a drink with friends and share excellent pizzas in the heart of Paris, it’s a brand-new address that we really like, located just a stone’s throw from the famous Grands Boulevards. In short, a great address for an atypical restaurant in Paris!

In the dark?

Impossible not to mention this address if you’re looking for an unusual restaurant in Paris. Dans le noir promises an out-of-the-ordinary experience. As the name suggests, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy your meal in the dark. The waiters are blind, and they guide customers through the meal. We think this unusual experience is something you should do at least once in your life!

Brunch Bar à Bulles

We continue our selection of unusual addresses with a bar/restaurant tucked away in the Moulin Rouge, welcome to Pigalle’s Bar à Bulles. This address organizes brunches every weekend, and the setting is well worth the detour. A little anecdote: we can see one of our first Paris apartments from the terrace!

Chez Monix au Splash, penultimate address in our selection of unusual restaurants in Paris

How about a trip to the mountains in Paris? That’s the promise of Chez Monix au Splash. Just 10 minutes from Porte Maillot, this is an address to discover from November to early spring. The setting is superb and the dishes are all excellent. A good address to warm up during winter!
