Where to eat in Paris? Our 10 favorite Italian restaurants in 2024

Pink Mamma Pigalle

We start our selection of the best Italian restaurants in Paris with an address we’ve been to many, many times, Pink Mamma. We were lucky enough to live down the street for 3 years, and in that time of our lives, Pink Mamma had become our HQ! The place is beautiful and the food is excellent. In over 3 years, we’ve never once been disappointed. It’s an address we recommend with our eyes closed, just a stone’s throw from Pigalle and Place Saint-Georges. For fans of colorful photography, don’t miss the Playground Duperré located right next door.

We continue our selection of the best Italian restaurants in Paris with Giorgio. The place is very beautiful and the dishes are all tasty. The cocktails here are also very good, so don’t hesitate to try them! Special mention for the beauty of the premises and toilets (we won’t tell you more!) In short, a second address tested and approved.

Chez Bartolo

Third address in our selection of the best Italian restaurants in Paris with the capital’s oldest pizzeria, Chez Bartolo. The restaurant opened in the 50s and the Pizza oven comes directly from Naples, no less! If you’ve ever had the chance to try a pizza in Naples, you’ll know what a guarantee of quality it is! If you don’t already know the address, go there with your eyes closed.

Gruppomimo Paris 11

Head to the 11th arrondissement for this Italian restaurant, Gruppomimo. Here you’ll find delicious Italian dishes, with a special mention for pasta and pizza. The decor and service are impeccable. When you visit Gruppomimo, don’t miss the pistachio profiterole! For your information, Gruppomimo has 8 restaurants in Paris and the inner suburbs.

Peppe Pizzeria Martyrs

It’s impossible to make a selection of the best Italian restaurants in Paris without mentioning world pizza champion Giuseppe Cutraro! You’ll find him at Chez Peppe at the very top of Rue des Martyrs. The restaurant was voted best pizzeria in Europe in 2021 by the Italian website 50 Top Pizza. Having also lived nearby, we can tell you that the pizzas here are truly incredible! How lucky we are to live in Paris when we’re gourmands…

Ninth vintage

We continue our trip to Italy with a little Italian restaurant we love, Neuvième cru. Here you’ll find a reduced menu with ultra-fresh dishes. The Italian specialties on offer are delicious, and you can feel the expertise of the kitchen teams. The restaurant is rather intimate, with Italian music playing in the background. If you’re looking for an authentic address, we recommend Neuvième cru in the 9th arrondissement.

  • Address: 20 Rue Richer, 75009 Paris
  • Opening times: daily from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 19:00 to 23:00. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
  • Reservations: to book it’s by here.

Pizzeria Popolare

We continue our selection with a must-visit Italian restaurant in Paris, Pizzeria Popolare. Located between Bourse and Sentier, this Italian restaurant from the Big Mamma group is one of our favorite addresses in the neighborhood. The decor is impeccable, and the dishes and cocktails are delicious. For us, it was here that we ate one of the best lemon meringue tarts of our lives. The address is often crowded in the evenings, so we recommend that you go there at lunchtime if you want to make the most of the setting.

L’Osteria Dell’Anima

Without doubt the most authentic and intimate address in our selection. If you’re looking for an Italian restaurant in Paris and you like authentic addresses, go for Osteria Dell’ Anima. This family-run restaurant offers delicious, lovingly prepared cuisine. It’s one of our favorite addresses in Paris.

  • Address: 37 Rue Oberkampf, 75011 Paris
  • Opening times: daily from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 19:30 to 23:15.

Navigli Italian Restaurant Paris 10

We continue our top with an address offering all-you-can-eat hot and cold buffets! If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the address to try. The food here is very good, and the buffet allows you to sample a number of Italian specialties. Navigli offers a weekend menu at €24.90, making it excellent value for money.

We end our selection of the best Italian restaurants in Paris with Libertino. The restaurant’s decor is super cool and the dishes are very good. The quantities offered for the dishes are really generous, which is a big plus when you love Italian specialties. The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat main course + starters and desserts formula for 25 euros, which also offers excellent value for money.
