Where to sleep in the Portuguese capital? Our selection of the best hotels in Lisbon
1. The Lumiares Hotel & Spa
The Lumiares is a hotel we love to go to because of its great location. The hotel has spacious rooms with very comfortable bedding. In your room you’ll find a fully-equipped kitchen (for Smeg fans, you’ll be well catered for), which can be useful on a multi-day stay for short restaurant breaks. From the rooms you also have a view of the S.Pedro de Alcantara streetcar stop, making for great photos of Lisbon’s famous streetcars! The hotel also offers a restaurant on the top floor, The Lumi Rooftop, which we recommend for a cocktail with a view. 🍹 For our part, it’s tested & approved!
++: The hotel terrace is very pleasant and the breakfasts are excellent 🙂

We had hesitated with this hotel during our last trip to Lisbon, it was a bit of an eye-catcher! The terrace offers a superb view over Lisbon’s rooftops. The welcome is warm and friendly. The breakfast is well worth it before exploring the city center on foot. The bedding is apparently very comfortable and the rooms spacious. Top-notch!

In the heart of the Almafa district, this hotel is housed in a 19th-century building but has been completely renovated. The decor is ultra-design, making it a sure-fire favorite!
