Sardinia is an Italian island in the Mediterranean Sea. It’s the second largest island in the Mediterranean, after Sicily, which we’ll look at next. Sardinia is famous for its sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. It’s also known for its culture and traditions, with numerous festivals and events taking place throughout the year.
Temperatures generally range between 15 and 20 degrees, with the sun shining almost every day. If you absolutely must go swimming in Sardinia, however, we recommend waiting until May. If you come to Sardinia in March, you won’t run into too many tourists, and you’ll be able to enjoy mild temperatures during your trip.
Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean, located just south of Italy. It is world-famous for its diverse landscapes, as well as its many historical and archaeological sites.
